Does "BIG RIVER" accommodate people with special needs?

Our Bowling Centre and Brew Pub are fully wheelchair accessible. We have reserved parking available as well as full wheelchair access from the front and sides of the building. All of our washrooms are special needs friendly with large stalls and room under our hand washing sinks. We have mainly chairs for seating which can easily be moved for your convenience. The Zone also has bowling ramps, helping to create a fun bowling experience by all.

How much notice do we need to make reservations?

LUNCH AND DINNER RESERVATIONS Please call 604-271-2739 and our friendly staff will assist you. We do not accept reservations on Holidays, Friday or Saturday Nights. CORPORATE PARTIES require a min of 72 hours notice. Most events are planned and booked months in advance particularly for the Christmas Party season. The earlier you book a party the higher the chances of getting he time slot you want. We do not accept reservations on Holidays, Friday and Saturday nights.

We do not accept reservations in the Pub or Restaurant side on Holidays, Friday and Saturday nights. *** Please note that Big River Brew Pub RICHMOND and Big River Restaurant COQUITLAM have different reservation policies. If you wish to make a reservation at Coquitlams Big River Restaurant call 604-525-2678. DINNER AND A MOVIE RESERVATIONS RICHMOND Reservations must be made before 3:00 p.m. THURSDAYS. Why make reservations? Due to limited seating, we need to make sure we have enough tickets to cover our reservations for the evening.

How many people can you accommodate?

The Brew Pub has the capacity for 125 people.
The Bar or "Wood" seats 20 people.
The Cabin which is the restaurant side seats 24. (Suitable for minors.)

Can we order food and drink on the lanes?

Yes! We have full service from Big River Brew Pub and Restaurant so you can eat and drink while bowling on the lanes using our Late Night Menu. We are required under BC Liquor Laws to ask anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 to provide two(2) pieces of identification and alcoholic beverages can only be consumed in designated areas.

Can we carry our own food and beverages TO the lanes?

To maintain high standards of service we do not allow you to carry your own food or beverages out to the lanes. Ask your server and they will make arrangements for you.

I see you have televisions. Can we request Pay per view ?

At this time we restrict the television stations to sporting events which do not offend youth present in the restaurant. We do not offer Pay Per View, UFC Fights or violent sports. All Televisions are on the same channel with no sound. However we do make some accept ions depending on the time and day of the sporting event. This is left at managers discretion.

Can we split our bills for a large party?

We can, however it is required that we are informed at the time the reservation is made and there can be no changing seats once the food has been ordered.

How old do I have to be to work at Big River Brew Pub?

Big River Richmond requires that staff are of legal age according to BC Liquor Laws which is 19 years of age.
