What is Cosmic Bowling?

Cosmic Bowling at The Zone is when we create a unique bowling experience by turning the music up on our state of the art sound system; lower the lights so the balls, pins and lanes glow in the dark. We have set times for Cosmic Bowling and on occasion "Special Sessions" for large private group functions.

Does "The Zone" accommodate people with special needs?

The Zone and Big River are fully accessible. We have reserved parking available as well as full wheelchair access from both the front and side of the buildings. All of our washrooms are special needs friendly. We also have ball ramps and bumpers. Did you know our Richmond location has bowling leagues for persons of special needs. Can we order food and drink out on the lanes?

Richmond | Big River Brew Pub

YES! We have full service from Big River Brew Pub so you can eat and drink while bowling on the lanes.

Coquitlam | Big River Restaurant

YES! We have full service from Big River Restaurant so you can eat and drink while bowling on the lanes.

Can we bring our own food into the lanes?

We do not allow outside food or beverages inside the bowling centre. We have several vending machines and full food and beverage service from Big River.

Can we reserve the entire Bowling Centre for an event?

This depends on the season. We have a limited amount of days that we can accommodate closures due to commitments to our league bowlers and other Corporate events which have booked months in advance. Events of this type usually book 3 - 6 months in advance. Please contact our reservations specialist at 604-525-BOWL (2695) ext. 301 for any inquiries.

Can we have a meeting at The Zone Bowling Centre?
